So far this winter we have had 3 periods of snow in the west of Scotland, the second period came at the end of the second week in January. I was originally going to post just the shot i took at Brownside Farm, but i thought i’d include the minimalist black and white shots taken on the Thursday too.
The Naked Tree; Park Road, Paisley, 14 January 2021, F/5.6, 1/200, ISO 400, 18.00mm
Eastern European Chic; Fairway Avenue, Glenburn, Paisley, 14 January 2021, F/5.0, 1/125s, ISO 400, 18.00mm
Shelter; Glenburn, Paisley, 14 January 2021, F/5.0, 1/125s, ISO 400, 34mm
The following day, i went for a walk up the cycle track to Barrhead, I was originally trying to get a pic of a specific tree (which didn’t quite work) and came across a frozen body of water (again those pics didn’t quite work), but did take a series of pictures of the below scene. After some editing….
A Winter Scene; Gleniffer Braes, close to Brownside Farm, 15 January 2021, F/4.5, 1/400s, ISO400, 24mm
So far there has been one other period of snow, the pictures from that period were more Landscape pictures with my 70-200mm lens. You will see those pics later on this week. Luck you!
